A former Strictly Come Dancing star has suggested that three specific members of the Royal Family could potentially join the show.
Dan Walker, a Channel 5 presenter who featured in the 19th season of the popular BBC dance competition, disclosed that he had conversed with one of the royals just six weeks prior.
He asserted that the royals "all watch" the show and went on to name three members who would be most likely to delight fans with a performance on the dancefloor, according to the Mail.a
Dan revealed: "I spoke to her about six weeks ago, and [the royals] all watch it. Fergie is probably the one [who would do it], or maybe one of her daughters, but so much time is required."
Earlier this year, it was reported that Sarah Ferguson, also known as Fergie, declined an offer to join the 20th series, despite being a regular face on television.
Besides her appearance on ITV's This Morning, the Duchess of York also made a guest appearance in a 1998 episode of Friends titled The One With Ross's Wedding.
The Royal family's fondness for the popular dance show is well-documented, with Strictly pro Nadiya Bychkova previously stating that Princess Anne "wants to go on the show" and that another member "knew everything".
Speaking to Closer magazine, Nadiya shared: "Prince Andrew and I also had a little conversation last year and he knew everything about the show; when I was in and when I was out, and who won it. It just blows your mind to think how big this show is.", reports Lancs Live.

Strictly fans include Queen Camilla and even the late Queen Elizabeth II, who was thought to have enjoyed the show, although the Royals have to adhere to strict protocol about how they behave.
It hints that, despite Mike Tindall joining the I'm a Celebrity jungle in 2022, Royal family members are not expected to be spotted on the dance floor competing for the coveted Glitterball trophy any time soon.
In his 2021 appearance on the dance floor, Dan was partnered with Nadiya; however, their journey came to an end following a nail-biting dance-off with AJ Odudu.
Penning his thoughts for I News, Dan confessed: "It ended up being one of the greatest televisual experiences of my life but, if I'm totally honest, it started out as one of the worst."
