Lorraine Kelly had fans talking as the Scottish presenter was nowhere to be seen during her firstc show of 2025.
The 65-year-old was absent from the first programme of the year, with Ranvir Singh, 47, stepping in to host. Much like regular This Morning presenters Cat Deeley and Ben Shephard, Lorraine hasn't been hosting the show over the festive period.
But it appears many viewers expected her to front the programme as they flocked to social media to complain.
Writing on X, one said: "Starting the new year off with 0%. What a strong start, Lorraine."
A second posted: "Might as well call the show 'occasionally featuring Lorraine' at this stage."
Another agreed: "This is embarrassing even by Lorraine’s standards."

As Christine Lampard and Ranvir are the two who typically step in for Lorraine when she is missing, some fans have now demanded that Ranvir be made a permanent presenter due to her efforts.
"Let’s keep Ranvir at number one!," declared one viewer as a second wrote: "Ranvir getting the early goal in. It’s now up to Christine to respond."
A third added: "Our Ranvir not messing around in 2025, she's not letting Christine take second place again."
Echoing this, another remarked: "Yay, Ranvir is coming for the #Lorraine show this year, she’s determined to beat Christine for silver and wants that percentage below 50%.First show of the year is hers, Ranvir’s not messing #TeamRanvir."
Someone else penned: "Ranvir has hosted 100% of episodes this year. Go Ranvir."

The presenter was speaking to The People’s Friend Special about where she thinks she’ll base herself in the future as she looks towards the end of her career.
The ITV star confessed she had discussed moving back to Orkney with her daughter Rosie, given Lorraine and her family’s close relationship with the location.
She said: "Rosie and I were talking about it the other day and we think we’ll eventually all end up coming back to Scotland. I miss Dundee a lot. Rosie loved it there and still does."
