Sarah Ferguson shares message for Lorraine
Lorraine Kelly was caught off guard during Wednesday's episode of her morning show when Royal editor Russell Myers brought an unexpected update.
During the broadcast, Russell disclosed that a Royal family member had sent in a special message.
A puzzled Lorraine said: "You've got an update, now, I'm not sure what this is about because I don't know. The Duchess of York, what's she saying?"
Russell excitedly responded: "Well I do! This is a bit of a world exclusive actually. We know Fergie, a friend of the show, always spreading joy and cheer wherever she goes. She had a very special message that she wants everybody to see."
As they played the pre-recorded video, Sarah Ferguson appeared brimming with excitement as she congratulated Lorraine, reports the Mirror.

Fergie said: "Yaay, this is incredible! You are part of the Granny club, well done Lorraine. I'm so proud of you and I'm longing to see you soon and give you a big hug. Of course, sending you one little children's book for your lovely lovely new grandchild. Well done indeed.
"I'm so thrilled for you. I wonder if you'll be called GG or Granny? Or Hmm, lovely Lorraine? No, I think Granny. Welcome to the Granny club, lots of love see you soon!"
Lorraine couldn't help but laugh, realising that the message was celebrating her becoming a grandmother.
After the clip finished, the ITV presenter expressed her gratitude to Sarah as she called her delightful.
The host added: "She is a hoot and she lives in her own wee world and it's quite a good world I think."
In her chat with Russell, Lorraine disclosed that she has chosen the title Granny for herself.
The celebrations come after Lorraine's daughter Rosie recently gave birth to a baby girl named Billie Kelly Smith-White.
Gushing over her new granddaughter on Good Morning Britain earlier in the week, Lorraine was clearly besotted.
She exclaimed: "It's just, it's brilliant! Everybody said to me you won't believe how much you'll love this little tiny thing and of course you do, but it's amazing to see your own child having a wee baby.
"It's just lovely, it's wonderful. I can't stop smiling!"
Lorraine continues weekdays on ITV from 9am.
