Christine McGuinness shares new romance details as she confirms 'I'm dating'

Christine McGuinness has excitedly shared, "I am dating again" during her appearance on Loose Women.

While discussing her stint on Celebrity MasterChef, the 36-year-old delved into her food journey on Tuesday's ITV daytime show, when the conversation naturally veered towards her personal life and whether she had begun to date following her split from comedian Paddy McGuinness.

She had been reflecting on her lack of cooking skills and her hopes that participating in the renowned BBC cookery show would inspire her to be more daring with food. However, it wasn't long before the topic shifted from culinary exploits to matters of the heart.

Coleen Nolan probed: "You seem to be really moving forward and really pushing yourself, do you think now that you're in a place where you may be ready to start dating again?"

With a beaming smile, Christine revealed: "I am dating," prompting an audible reaction from the audience and fellow panellists. The ex-Miss Liverpool continued, laying down her stipulation: "I am dating with terms and conditions that I am not cooking, that's the number one rule, I'm not doing the cooking it's not for me," reports the Mirror.

Additionally, Paddy's former partner candidly discussed her lifelong food-related challenges on the show, including her autism diagnosis and past struggles with an eating disorder. She admitted to the panel that she often found solace in eating alone in her car, away from others, as it provided her with a sense of comfort.

Discussing how romantic dinners would now fit into her life, she shared: "Yeah, I'm dating and it's all a bit brand new and we spoke an awful lot before we had a first date and I was very open and said I don't want to go to a restaurant and I don't want to go on a dinner date."

The mother-of-three reminisced about a chat with her new beau, saying: She'd told them:"'I don't know when I'm going to sit and eat with you'." Christine then closed off the topic with the panel.

Christine and TV presenter Paddy shocked fans by announcing their separation after 11 years of marriage via social media. The couple, parents to 10-year-old twins Penelope and Leo, and seven-year-old Felicity, issued a joint statement confirming the end of their marriage.

Since their split, Paddy and Christine have continued living under the same roof, striving to co-parent their children, who are autistic, with minimal upheaval. They have both discussed how this arrangement has been successful.

Despite lingering hopes from fans that the pair might reconcile, Christine's recent comments on Loose Women suggest that a reunion is unlikely. While Christine remained tight-lipped about the details of her new relationship, she did acknowledge moving on, and her radiant smile indicated she's very much enjoying this new chapter.
