Harry and Meghan: This Morning panel on possible future books

This Morning's royal expert has warned: "Brace yourselves" as Prince Harry and Meghan Markle look set to release further bombshells.

Camilla Tominey and Deborah Arthurs joined the ITV daytime show alongside Craig Doyle and Sian Welby this week to discuss the paperback release of Harry's memoir Spare, which was released in hardback last year.

The presenters confirmed that while paperback releases tend to include extra details to encourage more sales, Harry hasn't had time to add any further bombshells in his release – despite "having enough for a second book".

Camilla reminded viewers: "I think there are sighs of relief at Buckingham Palace that this is not being updated with any new material, even though he said – and let’s not forget this – 'I’ve got enough material for a second book'.

"And, by the way, of course, Meghan hasn’t written her autobiography yet."

Craig fretted: "Oh dear. Is that coming?" as Camilla admitted: "I think it’s always been on the cards."

Sian turned to the camera to say: "Well then, brace ourselves. There could be a part two." Asked about whether Harry and Meghan will return to the UK for the festive season, Camilla admitted: "I think it’s more likely, Deborah, that you and I go for Christmas at Sandringham than Harry and Meghan!"

Publishers Penguin Random House confirmed the paperback will be released in 16 languages across the world, and the “contents of the book are unchanged”.

That means Harry won’t address his father Prince Charles’ cancer diagnosis, or that of his sister-in-law Kate Middleton.

GB News anchor Eamonn Holmes was left fuming at the re-release of the book with no additional content, addressing the news on his show: “But the whole thing is, it doesn't make money if it's not got new content.

"If it hasn't got new content, why would you buy it? You had a chance to buy the hardback. Why would you buy the paper book?"

Commentator Alex Armstrong theorised: “Maybe it's a sign that they're starting to wind down. I could be talking utter nonsense here, but maybe they're learning that they don't want to keep upsetting the Royal family and they are not putting any more nonsense out."
