The Great British Sewing Bee saw four celebrities take on the challenge and put their sewing skills to the test for the BBC's Christmas Special.
Esme Young and Patrick Grant resumed their roles as experts to judge the designs of reality star Charlotte Crosby, EastEnders' Kellie Bright, Steps singer Ian "H" Watkins and comedian Fatiha El-Ghorri.
While the celebrities attempted to make Christmas costumes for a child and create their own twist to an advent calendar, viewers noticed that Kiell Smith-Bynoe was missing from his usual presenting duties.
Instead, comedian Sara Pascoe hosted the competition, much to the disappointment of fans.
Taking to social media, one viewer wrote: "I tuned into #celebritysewingbee looking forward to seeing [Kiell] presenting it but he's not there. I hope [Kiell] presents the 2025 series.
A perplexed fan questioned: "Settled to watch #SewingBee Christmas special….no Kiell?! Has he been ditched?"
Another simply quizzed: "Where is Kiell??? #SewingBee," as a third viewer penned: "Hope Kiell is back for the proper season.."
While a fuming viewer demanded: "Please bring back Kiell sarah is so annoying."
Despite this, other came into Sara's defence and were pleased she was hosting, including one fan who exclaimed: "Hurrah! Sara is back!"

A sixth fan shared: "I for one is happy that Sara Pascoe is presenting this."
Kiell previously opened up about landing the presenting role on the Great British Sewing Bee after competing in the 2021 Christmas Special.
The actor revealed that Patrick offered him the role through a direct message on social media: "I thought, 'Are they asking me to come back on? And if they are, why is it coming through a DM from Patrick Grant rather than a formal offer to my agent?' And he was just like, 'Would you come back and do the main gig?'"
Although he was thrilled to take on his first-ever presenting gig, Kiell admitted to iNews: "I am flattered that they asked, but I really don’t understand why. Still don’t."
