Jane Moore has set the record straight on her relationship with her former partner and explained how she feels about dating again.
In a new issue of Platinum, the Loose Women panellist opened up about her current relationship status after announcing her split from Gary Farrow in 2022 after 20 years.
Following the divorce, it would appear that Jane isn't that keen to jump back into dating just yet, revealing that she's "still recalibrating to single life".
She explained that her friends often ask her whether she's dating or not and when she responds that she isn't, they tend to question whether she has any intention to.
Jane said: "When I say no, the follow-up line of enquiry is always, 'Do you want to date again', as though I'm considering getting back on a horse after a nasty fall.
"But my divorce wasn't nasty, we're still good friends and, quite frankly, after 26 years of living with someone, I'm still recalibrating to single life and in no hurry to dive back into a relationship just for the sake of it."
She went on to admit that she enjoys her own company and feels perfectly comfortable pottering around her home without speaking to anybody else.
Jane explained that deciding she wants another relationship and then looking for somebody to date isn't the order she'd prefer. She emphasised that if she wants to date, then it would be with someone she has met "many times".
The former I'm A Celeb star added that she's not searching for somebody to "complete" her but if somebody arrives who "adds" to her life, then "great".

The mum-of-three announced that she had split up with her partner live on Loose Women, yet the former couple had been "processing" the split for "about a year", reports the Mirror.
Speaking on Loose Women, she said: "It's weird that it's out there [in public] because we've been processing it for about a year. So we're both quite private people. We had discussed it last year... it was going to happen last year. And then he fell and broke his leg and, no, I didn't push him. Just want to put that out there. He fell and broke his leg. And obviously, then all bets are off."
The former couple have three daughters, two of whom went to Australia to offer support to Jane while she was in the I'm A Celebrity jungle.
When asked if they thought the journalist was looking forward to her underwater trial during the show, Ellie and Grace highlighted that Jane had "asked for it".
Gary runs a PR agency called The Corporation Group, with the couple marrying back in 2002 in Claridge’s Hotel in London. Among the celebrity attendees were Sir Elton John, Barbara Windsor and Jonathan Ross.
