Lorraine: Ekin-Su talks about her time on Celebrity Big Brother
Ekin-Su Culculoglu has opened up about her regrets on Celebrity Big Brother. The Love Island star admitted to being "defensive," and not fully "healed" during her time on the show, reports the Mirror. Reflecting on her experience, she told Lorraine: "For me, Celebrity Big Brother is a good show. I don't regret it. I do understand it was the wrong time for me to go on the show. I was healing - I wasn't healed."
Speaking about how she felt at the time, and how it affected how she came across, she said: "I was very defensive. When I look back at myself, I can't recognise myself. The mentioning Love Island all the time, being all self-defensive, I wouldn't be that person now. I take accountability for maybe some of the things I said on there. I forgive and I learn and you move on.
"That's the past now and I have so much love for everyone that was on there and I wish them the best."

Despite never returning for the live final, Ekin-Su explained her absence at the time. Speaking about the importance of "setting boundaries", she noted: "I know it's unlike me to hide away, but I've been taking some time to reflect. Sometimes in our lowest moments, we learn the most important lessons about ourselves.
"I hope you don't think I was selfish for setting boundaries and putting my own needs first last night. I'm fully aware that not everybody will understand my absence, or think it was the right decision to make, BUT it was the right decision for me. I chose to remove myself from a potentially uncomfortable situation that I preferred to avoid."
She continued: "I'm proud of myself for recognising what I need during this time, despite the hate that might come my way. Accountability is key and when I'm ready, I will give some context around these past few weeks."
Ekin-Su caused quite the controversy during her time on Celebrity Big Brother, which was eventually won by David Potts. Following his win earlier this year, David was given his own podcast, The David Potts Show.
