Michael Whitehall is the father of comedian Jack Whitehall, who has a new Netflix series called Jack Whitehall: Fatherhood with My Father. The series, which is made up of four episodes, will drop on the streaming platform on September 10.
The series was filmed before and after the birth of Jack's daughter Elsie, whom he shares with his partner Roxy Horner. Jack was after advice from his dad as he expressed nerves about taking on such a huge responsibility.
Michael, 84, is an author, producer and talent agent who formed two production companies in the late 80s and 90s. He has represented some huge names including Edward Fox, Colin Firth and Judi Dench.
Originally from Exeter, he studied at a Catholic boarding school in Yorkshire, run by Benedictine monks. He started his career as a film reporter before producing TV shows and becoming a theatrical agent.

According to ZBlogS, Michael's net worth as of 2024 is a whopping $48 million (£36million).

Michael formed Havahall Pictures with actor Nigel Havers in 1988, followed by Whitehall Films in 1998.
He has made guest appearances on a number of shows including Countdown, Alan Carr: Chatty Man and Who Do You Think You Are?.
The former talent agent has also released a series of books including Shark Infested Waters: Tales of an Actors' Agent, which his son Jack illustrated.
In 2013 his second book, Him & Me, was released and it was co-written with his son.
Backing into the Spotlight: A Memoir was later released in 2017.
