Netflix teases new season of Selling Sunset
Selling Sunset season eight has just launched, and Nicole Young has been at the heart of high drama leading up to its premiere.
As the fresh installment hit Netflix, Nicole Young was embroiled in a social media feud with fellow cast members Chrishell Stause, Chelsea Lazkani, and Emma Hernan.
The tension soared when Chrishell aired her grievances on Instagram regarding a particular scene she previewed before the series' official release, expressing clear dissatisfaction towards both Nicole and the show's producers.
Her post read: "Someone needs to take my phone...Are we really still giving airtime to LIARS that just want airtime?"
She also vehemently declared: "I will NEVER work on a show with her on it again. I would rather be sued."
Triggering this rift was Nicole's controversial claim that castmate Emma Hernan engaged in an affair with a married individual.
In response to Chelsea who denounced her as "diabolical" for circulating "rumours" Nicole defended herself saying: "Instead of attacking me and accusing me of lying, I think you ladies need to ask your bestie some tough questions."
Questioning the transparency within their group, she added: "Did she let you know she was directly confronted on camera at the season 7 finale by the wife's best friend? ".
Nicole continued to defend her position on the matter, stressing: "Even still, I stated this info as a rumour.
"And given both of you have been the victim of extramarital affairs, I would think you too would stand for the sanctity of marriage."
Nicole made her debut in Selling Sunset during its sixth season, despite initially being slated to join the cast from its inception due to her longstanding affiliation with The Oppenheim Group.
She confided in People: "Honestly, at the time, I just got cold feet right before they were going to start filming."
"I just wasn't ready to expose my entire life, and even more so, my clients and business which I'm very protective of to the entire world...I've grown personally and professionally a lot."
"At the end of the day, it's an incredible opportunity and a rise-to-the-occasion kind of moment."
Her biography on the company's official website reveals the 39 year old was born and raised in Minneapolis and pursued higher education at Baylor University in Texas until relocating to Los Angeles in 2007.
There she achieved a bachelor's degree in marketing and public relations.
Moreover, the website boasts her relentless dedication as a "always a loyal and fierce advocate of her clients' best interests' and has an extraordinary ability to negotiate and come up with creative solutions in order to execute any deal."
While the details of how Nicole met her husband remain private, it is known that she has been happily married to Brandon Young since 2017.
Just last year, Nicole publicly commemorated their fifth wedding anniversary with an emotional Instagram post.
Elevating their special day, she penned: "5 years! ! Happy anniversary my love. Time flies when you marry your best friend."
"4.22.17 was the best day of my life, not because our epic wedding was the best party we've ever thrown, but because it was the day I became your wife and the day we became a family."
