Eamonn Holmes appeared to be struggling as Mr Motivator guided him on some simple exercises this morning. The GB News host was at the helm of his breakfast show when 71-year-old Derrick Errol Evans appeared as a guest, dressed in his workout lycra, ready to energise the presenter.

Mr Motivator showed Eamonn and his co-star, Isabel Webster, how to keep their bodies healthy with some simple moves. But Eamonn seemed to find the exercises difficult as he branded it a "living nightmare".

As he finished the mini routine, Eamonn, 64, sighed heavily before adding: "It's like a living nightmare". He continued: "We get the message, Mot, thank you. We look forward to seeing you when you're 91 instead of 71, my friend."

Mr Motivator replied: "GB News should have me come in every single morning to do five minutes before you guys come on and that way we can get the nation moving. Movement is medicine!"

Eamonn could be heard groaning "oh God," as he heartily belly laughed in the background.

It is no secret that Eamonn has faced a number of health issues over the years, with him regularly suffering from chronic back pain. In a heartbreaking admission, he has previously mentioned feeling like he's living on "borrowed time", given that his father passed away from a heart attack at 65.

The former This Morning star has endured a series of health issues over the years, including a double hip replacement and a battle with Shingles. However, the severe back pain he started experiencing two years ago has proven to be one of his most challenging health hurdles to date.

The television personality resisted hip replacement surgery for thirty years before finally deciding to go under the knife in 2016 at the age of 55.

The operation was a necessity to address the unbearable hip, leg, and back pain that plagued him, causing sleepless nights and severely limiting his physical activity.

In his pursuit of recovery, Eamonn has put his body through rigorous regimes from regular physiotherapy to ice-cold showers. However, the broadcaster's recovery has been slow.

He expressed fears that he may never walk unaided again. "I have tried every treatment but you go: 'Maybe I'll never get out of it,' which is a harsh reality to face," he admitted.
