The Perfect Couple release time: When is the mysterious Netflix drama out?

The Perfect Couple is coming to Netflix soon and on the day of a wedding, a body is discovered just hours before the ceremony. Everyone in the wedding party becomes a suspect as the search for answers begins.

The story has been adapted for the small screen and was inspired by the 2018 novel of the same name by Elin Hilderbrand. It follows Amelia (played by Eve Hewson) who is about to marry into the wealthy Nantucket Winbury family.

Her husband-to-be Benji's (Billy Howle) mother Greer Garrison Winbury (Nicole Kidman) does not approve of her. Family secrets are soon revealed when a body is found on the beach.

Filming took place in Massachusetts, with locations including Chatham, Eastward Point, Harwich, and around Cape Cod.

The show is made up of six episodes and they will all air at the same time on September 5.

This means eager fans will be able to binge-watch the series across the weekend, avoiding any cliffhangers.

Netflix usually drops new shows in the US at midnight on the day of release, with UK fans having to wait until 8am on the day of release.

Nicole Kidman told Reuters at the series' UK premiere in London: "I grew up on (murder mysteries) and... I haven't seen one like this for a while, so it was really exciting to be a part of it and to be able to produce it as well.

"(Greer is) strong and, and powerful and that was exciting to play... I'm always on this quest to find things that I haven't done or have different experiences."

Eve Hewson plays the outsider character, adding: "I was a little bit jealous of the Winburys (family characters) just because they have amazing one-liners. I was the grounded one... the serious one."
