Channel 5 has commissioned an hour-long documentary entitled Katie Price: Where Did The Money Go? from ITN Productions to air next week.

The show will chart the 46-year-old's career and very public personal life up to the present day and a look at how the former glamour model went from rags to riches, and back again.

The documentary will look in detail at the spending excesses and the bad decisions that have led to a £750,000 unpaid tax bill and an arrest for failing to appear in court at a previous bankruptcy hearing.

Guests on the programme include Katie’s friend Kerry Katona, paparazzi photographer, George Bamby, former Daily Star editor Dawn Neesom, and Page 3 photographer Jeany Savage.

Jeremy Daldry, Deputy Head of UK Factual at ITN, said: “Katie Price is a true British icon. She has been on our screens and in our papers for nearly 30 years: glamour model, media personality, author, businesswoman. In that time there have been highs and lows in life, love and her bank balance.

"In this topical documentary we will go beyond the headlines to explore the financial pitfalls of fame and what it’s like to navigate to manage bankruptcy so publicly.”

Katie appeared in court on Tuesday to face questions from barristers over her bankruptcies. However, a judge adjourned the hearing after the mum-of-five's lawyers asked for her to attend a "private interview".

As she left the courtroom in the Rolls Building in London, Katie told journalists sitting in the public gallery: "I hope you reporters write a good story today, won't you, all the bulls**t that you write, scumbags."

Katie was first declared bankrupt in 2019, and in February this year was ordered to pay 40 percent of her monthly income from the adult entertainment website OnlyFans until February 2027 to help pay off her debts.

She was then declared bankrupt for a second time in March over an unpaid tax bill worth more than £750,000.

Price was arrested at Heathrow Airport earlier this month after an arrest warrant was issued in July for failing to attend a previous court date.

She was warned by a judge on August 9 to attend Tuesday's hearing with "no ifs, no buts", or face arrest again.

Her ex-husband, Alex Reid, was also in attendance at the hearing.

Katie Price: Where Did The Money Go? airs on Sunday, September 8, at 9pm on Channel 5.
