Rylan Clark's Prime Video reality series, Hot Mess Summer, has reportedly been pulled after just one series. The show, which debuted earlier this year, saw eight partygoers travel to Zante, Greece, believing they had signed up for a summer of fun. However, upon their arrival, they were tasked with running their own bar and serving other tourists.

Tensions arose when the contestants found out they could not drink or party, and had to work hard in order to win a potential £60,000 by the end of the season.

On Monday, it was reported that the series has been axed due to scheduling conflicts.

A source told The Sun: "Unfortunately, with Rylan's jam-packed schedule and Prime Video's upcoming slate, there aren't plans for another series as it currently stands.”

Rylan, 35, spoke excitedly about the show when it aired in February 2024.

He told Radio Times: "Hot Mess really is a medley of all the shows I loved to watch growing up, so [it is] really nostalgic.

"It's got a little bit of Sun, Sex and Suspicious Parents, it's got a bit of Geordie Shore, it's got a bit of The Apprentice, in a weird way, as well.

"The whole show, where it's a brand new concept, is the deceit of it all. They all think they're there to party - you're not, darling!"

While the news is a blow for fans of the Prime Video show, Rylan will be returning to screens this week with a boundary-breaking new dating series on a rival streaming platform.

Dating Naked launches on Paramount+ on Friday (August 23), featuring nude singletons looking for love in a luxury villa in Colombia.

The streamer has warned that host Rylan will be the only clothed star while the 10 contestants have to get to know each other with no clothes on.

They face challenges as new arrivals join and potentially disrupt existing relationships. Each episode includes dates and an elimination round dubbed the Dumping Ground. The successful couple at the end will win a cash prize of £50,000.

Paramount+ has warned viewers the new series "contains full nudity without any blurring or pixelation".

The series will premiere on Paramount+ on August 23, with new episodes every Friday.
