Loose Women: Coleen Nolan brands co-star 'ugly'
Coleen Nolan was far from amused during Tuesday's (August 13) episode of Loose Women.
Despite being reunited with the same co-stars from Monday's show, and the panel appearing quite at ease with one another, the atmosphere shifted when the topic of 'people living longer who were more attractive' came up.
Christine Lampard, leading the discussion, cited a study suggesting that better-looking individuals might enjoy a lifespan extension of around two years compared to their less attractive counterparts.
Coleen, however, wasn't having any of it. She made her displeasure abundantly clear by grimacing towards Christine and the camera, much to the audience's delight.
The former popstar's frustration was palpable as she theatrically threw her hands in the air after the camera caught her reaction, reports the Mirror.
In a moment of light-hearted confrontation, Coleen turned to a chuckling Christine and quipped: "Are you going to press that button?"
The conversation took another turn as Christine added fuel to the fire by remarking that some of the most beautiful people could be "very dull".
Coleen Nolan caused a stir on air as she abruptly cut off the discussion with a cheeky "Are you still talking? " and proceeded to mimic snoring, sending co-stars Brenda and Kelly into fits of laughter.
Despite her apparent disinterest in the study's findings, Coleen did share her perspective, saying: "I think beauty is in the eye of the beholder, I've been out with some dodgy looking guys in my time."
She added: "But they've really made me laugh and therefore the whole attractiveness comes into it of the overall person."
Christine Lampard commended her, responding with a supportive "Well said," only for Coleen to playfully tease her glamorous colleague and Frank Lampard's wife, quipping: "Alright ugly, get on with it."
