Batman returns to the small screen yet again with a new animated series on Prime Video. Batman: Caped Crusader is a dark new animated series which launched on the streaming service on Thursday, August 1.
From The Batman director Matt Reeves, JJ Abrams and executive producer Bruce Timm, this animated series follows the ‘World’s Greatest Detective’ in a reimagining of the Batman mythology. Over 10 episodes, Bruce Wayne’s (Hamish Linklater) one-man crusade attracts unexpected allies within the GCPD and City Hall, but his heroic actions spawn deadly, unforeseen ramifications.
The show includes a variety of Batman’s friends and foes with some famous faces voicing some iconic characters including Oscar-nominated stars.
