Midsomer Murders returns to TV
Midsomer Murders’ Nick Hendrix isn’t the only famous face in his family as the actor is married to another recognisable TV star.
Actor Nick Hendrix has been part of the Midsomer Murders cast as DS Jamie Winter for the past eight years and has firmly cemented his place in the iconic ITV drama.
From Black Mirror and Marcella, to The Crown and Call The Midwife, the 39-year-old has featured in other big shows so is no stranger to the small screen and neither is his wife.
Who is Midsomer Murders actor Nick Hendrix married to?
Midsomer Murders star Nick Hendrix has been married to actress Jessica Ellerby since 2017, although it isn’t known how long they have been together or where they met.
Ellerby will be remembered for starring in Netflix’s sitcom Lovesick, playing Amber Platt in Benidorm and featuring in the superhero series Pennyworth.
She has also been in episodes of Inside No.9, Endeavour, Cardinal Burns and Grace just to name a few.
When she isn’t acting, Ellerby works as a yoga instructor who runs regular classes as well as retreats.
Midsomer Murders fans may remember her from a 2021 episode where she starred opposite Hendrix, portraying Jamie’s ex-girlfriend Caitlin.
Opening up on acting alongside his wife on the show, Hendrix said: "It sounds sentimental but I was very proud of her, it was nice to see.
"So it was nice watching her getting on with her job and do it really well.
"Everyone thought she was brilliant and she was brilliant.
“The scenes that I've seen, she's very wonderful and much better than me, which is quite annoying.”
