Malcolm Tucker was the foul-mouthed and manipulative former Director of Communications at Number 10.

He was played by Scottish actor and director Peter Capaldi, who later took on the role of the 12th incarnation of the Time Lord in the BBC sci-fi drama Doctor Who.
Nicola Murray - Rebecca Front
Nicola Murray was the idealistic politician who wouldn't take no for an answer and had previously been ousted as leader of the opposition, thanks to Malcolm.

Terri Coverley - Joanna Scanlan
