The BBC has confirmed a member of Strictly Come Dancing production staff will be present in all future rehearsals following complaints about the behaviour of former professional dancers Giovanni Pernice and Graziano Di Prima.
In a series of extra measures, the broadcaster will also introduce two dedicated welfare producers and provide further training for the production team and crew.
The announcement comes after Giovanni, 33, and Graziano, 30, were axed from the dance series following misconduct allegations.
A statement from a BBC spokesperson said: "The BBC is today announcing additional steps to strengthen welfare and support on Strictly Come Dancing.
"Concerns that have arisen in recent months have been fundamentally about training and rehearsals. The actions we announce today are designed to address that."
Kate Phillips, the BBC's director of unscripted, said: "Whilst we know our shows have been positive experiences for the vast majority of those who have taken part, if issues are raised with us, or we’re made aware of inappropriate behaviour, we will always take that seriously and act.
"Concerns that have arisen have been fundamentally related to training and rehearsals. The decisive steps we have taken and are announced today, act to further strengthen the welfare and support in place for everyone involved with this production."
Earlier on Tuesday, Graziano's 2023 partner Zara McDermott said she was involved in "incidents" during training which she now finds "incredibly distressing" to watch.
Zara wrote in a statement on Instagram: "I fully understood the level of commitment and hard work that Strictly was going to be and I dedicated everything to it. I am a resilient person and I was fully prepared to put in whatever it took. And so much of my Strictly experience was everything I could have dreamt of...

"However, my experience inside the training room was very different. Reports have been made about my treatment on the show and there were witnesses to some events, as well as videos of particular incidents which are incredibly distressing to watch."
When his axe was announced over the weekend, Graziano said he "deeply regrets" the events that led to his departure.
He wrote: "I deeply regret the events that led to my departure from Strictly. My intense passion and determination to win might have affected my training regime. Respecting the BBC HR process, I understand it's best for the show that I step away.
"While there are aspects of this story involving external influences that I can't discuss at this time, I remain committed to being strong for my family and friends. I wish the Strictly family and the BBC nothing but success in the future."
Giovanni was left out of the 2024 line-up after a number of his former Strictly partners issued complaints.
The Italian dancer has rejected "any suggestion of abusive or threatening behaviour".
He continued his statement: "I am cooperating fully with the ongoing BBC investigation, which will determine the truth.
"As requested, I have stayed silent, but I am looking forward to the conclusion of the investigation and ultimately clearing my name and establishing the truth.”
