Some GB News fans are still reeling from the announcement that Isabel Webster and Mark Dolan have been "permanently relieved of duties" at the channel.
Arguing that regulars Stephen Dixon and Ellie Costello are "too sickly sweet" as a hosting duo, not everyone welcomed the news that Ellie would be increasing her appearances to five days a week. Isabel's departure caused disappointment for many, while a lively debate began in Mark's X comment after he shared the news of his own departure.
One fan suggested that podcasts were "the way to go" instead of conventional news channels now. "I'm not going to watch GBNews if the only presenters are the likes of Stephen and Anne, bland, all the good ones have gone!" she argued.
The fan added: "Let's be fair, it was doomed the moment a controversial subject was brought into play." Another vented: "That ex Sky prat running @GBNEWS has lost the bleeding plot. Does he want us to just watch Stephen Dixon & Anne Diamond talk s*** about biscuits and kittens?
"Well done Angelos Frangopoulos -you have turned the channel into a TV version of 'The Peoples Friend'. Off to @TalkTV!" A third insisted that two days per week of Ellie hosting was enough for them.

"Disgusted with them for getting rid of @IsabelWebster_ and @mrmarkdolan - the thought of Stephen Dixon and Ellie Costello fawning over each other every day (as much as I like them) is too much sickly sweet for me," the disgruntled viewer argued.
The disappointment follows the news of a huge shake-up at the station, with Matt Goodwin announced as a new permanent host.
He'll be appearing three evenings a week with his State of the Nation show.
However, some blamed him for the departure of another popular host, quizzing on X: "Is that why Mark Dolan was pushed out?"

A GB News spokesperson confirmed the changes on Wednesday, stating: "Ellie Costello will now co-host GBN Breakfast five days a week, presenting alongside Eamonn Holmes on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday and with Stephen Dixon on Thursday and Friday.
"Stephen and Anne Diamond will continue to co-present GB News Breakfast at Weekends."
Meanwhile, the transformation at the channel might not be over yet.
Multiple people also asked whether Jacob Rees-Mogg, whose reality show Meet The Rees-Moggs launched last month, was "safe" following news that his hours had been cut.
