The Chase: Bradley Walsh asks Shaun Wallace 'what's happened?'
ITV viewers are in for a festive delight as The Chase stars return for another Christmas special. Despite the quiz show taking a hiatus in 2023, with a rerun aired instead, a fresh episode is on the horizon.
This year, spectators will witness actor Tony Maudsley, Olympic Champion Bryony Page, comedian Kerry Godliman and TV presenter Alexander Armstrong challenge five of the Chasers.
While fans are accustomed to seeing the quizzers in their regular outfits, such as Paul Sinha's white suit, Jenny Ryan's 60s inspired hairstyle and Darragh Ennis' velvet paisley print jacket and bolo tie, they'll appear quite different in the special.
Daringly, Darragh transforms into Cavity Sam, the character from the popular game Operation. Clad only in light pink briefs adorned with dark hearts, Darragh has cardboard objects scattered across his body.
From an apple near his throat, a twisted ankle and a broken heart, The Chase star completes the look with a dark wig, a glowing red nose and a thermometer in hand, reports the Mirror.

Shaun Wallace chose to draw inspiration from his ITV colleague and fellow Chase star Anne Hegerty.
Emulating her wardrobe, a grey pencil skirt paired with a matching blazer and white blouse, Shaun has gone all out.
The quizzer can be seen sporting a full face of makeup with red lipstick and a short brown wig to imitate Anne's hair. Completing the look with pearl earrings, will Shaun channel his inner Governess during the show?
While Anne Hegerty is noticeably absent from the line-up, Jenny Ryan is stealing the show in a dazzling sequinned off-the-shoulder gown.
Embodying Cluedo's Miss Scarlett, The Vixen has swapped her usual black glasses for a pair of red ones to match her outfit.
Paul Sinha, another Chaser, has also drawn inspiration from a classic board game, opting to dress as Mr. Monopoly. Looking sharp in a white shirt, black suit and top hat, he's even adopted the character's signature moustache.
The ITV star has gone the extra mile by dyeing his hair, eyebrows and fake moustache grey to resemble the iconic game character.
For this year's festive special, the Chase star has dressed up as Veggie Potamus from Hungry Hippos
Donning a bright green onesie, Mark's face is the only visible part of him, which he's painted with two large white teeth on his chin.
It seems the theme for the Chase's Christmas special is characters from popular games or quizzes. Over the years, fans have seen the quizzers dress up as characters from The Addams Family and Alice in Wonderland.
The Chase Celebrity Special airs on Wednesday 25th December on ITV from 8pm.
