The Simpsons: Bart returns from the future in teaser clip
Following Channel 4's decision to axe The Simpsons from its regular TV slot, fans can be reassured that they still have options to watch some episodes for free.
The animated series, which revolves around the iconic family members Homer, Marge, Bart, Lisa and Maggie, along with other Springfield residents, has been a staple on the UK channel since 2004.
However, it was confirmed this week that The Simpsons would leave its 6:30pm weekday Channel 4 slot from January, moving to E4 instead, reports the Mirror.

Despite the significant decision by the broadcaster to remove the long-standing animated comedy from Channel 4, fans will still be able to enjoy the beloved American family for free. They will now be aired on E4, which is channel 13 on Freeview.
A select number of episodes will remain available to stream for free on the Channel 4 app, although they will only be accessible for a limited period.
At the time of writing, a selection of five episodes can be viewed on the app. This includes three episodes from Season 12, one from Season 18 and the Christmas episode from Season 30.
E4 will be airing the latest episodes for free, albeit not in sync with their original US airdate. For fans wanting to watch both classic and new episodes, a Disney+ subscription remains the best option.
Ever since its UK launch following a merger with Fox Corporation, Disney+ has offered access to the show. It will be the first platform to host the newest episodes from Season 36.
In fact, Disney+ boasts the complete library of The Simpsons, including all episodes from the first 35 seasons, with Season 36 set to be added in the coming year.
The streaming service also offers The Simpsons Movie and the recently added double-episode Christmas special, O C'mon All Ye Faithful.
Additionally, there are several shorts featuring Simpsons characters crossing over with other Disney franchises like Star Wars and Marvel heroes. Disney+ subscriptions start at £4.99 a month with ads or £8.99 a month ad-free, with annual payment plans and 4K streaming tiers also available.
The Simpsons is streaming on Disney+ with select episodes on Channel 4.
