Amanda Holden and Jason King, known as JK, were visibly moved to tears on Wednesday's Heart Breakfast Show after playing heartfelt messages for their courageous young guest, Harry.
The day before, the Amanda and Jason introduced their audience to the nine-year-old boy whose world was rocked last year by the discovery of a large tumour at the back of his brain. It had also spread down his spinal cord, necessitating aggressive treatments including chemotherapy.
Following over a year of valiantly fighting cancer, the radio station's team arranged a special treat for Harry and his brother Reece with a trip to the Lego store. And today they had another surprise waiting for him in the studio.
In a touching tribute to show Harry the depth of affection for him, Amanda and JK aired messages from his school friends and teachers, leading to an outpouring of emotion.
One friend expressed their disbelief and sadness, saying: "I was just shocked to hear the news, and just... why does it have to happen to him? Brain tumours don't happen that often, but they have to happen to him. Harry, I can't wait to play with you soon."
Teachers joined in, with one calling Harry "an absolute star" and another sending wishes for "the best Christmas ever".
As the studio filled with the sound of these loving messages, tears flowed freely from Harry, his mother, JK, and Amanda, with the latter two finding it difficult to continue speaking.
Amanda, overwhelmed by the moment, shared with listeners: "Oh wow, we are all crying here, every single person in the studio" and praised Harry's support network, saying: "What an incredible bunch of friends and teachers you have, what a lucky boy."
JK remarked: "It is so nice to see your response to that when all your friends were saying 'Hi' and you smiled."

"And [I'm] also a bit emotional because you love them so much and they love you, they really do."
Amanda Holden then revealed that Harry had been gifted with an exclusive VIP Harry Potter tour, thanks to his friends and teachers. In addition to this enchanting treat, the courageous lad received a call from Santa himself, extending an invitation to Lapland for both Harry and his sibling.
The heartfelt moment has touched listeners far and wide after being posted on the radio station's Instagram account. An emotional listener remembered: "I was listening this morning and cried as well. Wonderful family. Speedy recovery."
Another sent heartfelt wishes: "Have the best Christmas wee man! You're a soldier." Reflecting the widespread sentiment, someone else shared: "You lot had us all crying in the car on the school run this morning,".
