TM: Josie yells at Dermot after standing in front of her
On-air tensions escalated when Josie Gibson confronted Dermot O'Leary during a live This Morning broadcast, asking: "What are you doing?" The two seemingly ended up in tiff while in full view of the audience watching at home.
The situation became awkward when it the former X Factor host seemed to hog the limelight, much to Josie's dismay, as the duo vied over hosting duties.
Dermot began a segment on festive gifts with, stating: "It's time to talk presents now." At which point, he proceeded to waltz right in front of Josie, intentionally or innocently, completely shading the Big Brother winner from the camera's gaze.
Feeling overshadowed, Josie quickly retorted: "What are you doing?" Her co-host, barely containing his amusement, offered a playful apology, reports the Mirror.
"God, I'm so sorry," he said, while Josie reminded him: "I present this show too, there are two of us on air. Remember that."

Dermot tried to brush it off as an unintentional blunder, gesturing elsewhere and explaining: "I thought you were there." Yet, Josie wasn't having any of it, remaining miffed and quipping: "What is he like."
Perhaps realising he'd pushed a button, Dermot then decided to duck across her path again, only to add further fuel to situation.
Not one to be outdone, the Bristol-born presenter saw her moment and leaped to the forefront, giving Dermot a taste of his own medicine as he seemed to fumble around behind her on the set.
Ensuring the British-Irish presenter was well out of frame, she carried on with her segment as Dermot O'Leary cheekily made faces behind her back, unbeknownst to her.
In other news from earlier in the week, fans were thrilled to see Josie Gibson return to This Morning following a significant break. The adored presenter had taken time off since September, having announced several new ventures on the horizon.
Social media users, on X - previously known as Twitter, couldn't contain their excitement about her comeback. One viewer exclaimed: "Josie's back #thismorning." (sic)
Another eagerly questioned: "Josie - where the hell have you been?" A third fan celebrated: "Woooooooo Josie is back #ThisMorning." The enthusiasm didn't stop there, as another commented: "It's Josie! #ThisMorning." (sic)
Josie had been away working on various projects, including her soon-to-air Channel 5 series First Class Travel and an exploration into the food of the 1970s.
