Devotees of the show are on tenterhooks for season two, and Netflix has just dropped a major bombshell about the series' progress.
The production of Wednesday season two has wrapped up, setting sights on a release next year, with an exact launch date still under wraps.
As word spread, fans deluged Reddit with their immediate thoughts, voicing a strong plea for Netflix to scrap a particular element of the show.
A Reddit user stated: "The show gave no reason she should be interested in anything other than death."

In addition, one suggested: "If they're going to have Romance in the show they should just make it through the werewolf character or a different character more inclined to do so."
Another aficionado remarked: "The romance in season one was incredibly awkward and felt wrong for the character of Wednesday." They lamented: "The show never gave me a convincing reason that she would be interested in either of those two boys."
A further comment read: "Hopefully no love s**t this time. I am all for romance but it was sooooo forced in season 1." (sic)
Meanwhile, another shared: "The only relationship I cared about was the one between her and Enid anyway."
