Fans of Our Yorkshire Farm were astonished by Reuben Owen's "different" appearance in his upcoming TV special, set to air later this week. The one-off episode, Reuben Owen: Christmas in the Dales, will feature Reuben's younger siblings, Sid and Miles, and his close friend Tommy.
According to the episode's synopsis, "Reuben plans a festive gathering for friends and family at their local spot to express gratitude for their support of his heavy plant machinery business.
"Before the preparations, Reuben and Tommy take his new snowmobile for a spin through a field filled with sheep and also embark on a trip to a Swedish mining town in the Arctic Circle for some end-of-year work."
However, when an eagle-eyed fan shared promotional photos from the series on a Facebook fan page, the comments section was flooded with reactions. While many fans expressed their excitement about the new show, others couldn't help but notice Reuben's distinct new look.
One fan commented: "Reuben looks so different when he is out of work gear. Three lovely brothers and work so well together."
Another agreed, saying: "He really does, doesn't he? " A third fan added: "Love seeing Reuben as he matures and with his lovely friendship with Tommy. Missed their input in the recent show," reports Leeds Live.

Other fans observed the growth of Reuben's siblings, with one commenting: "Wow, Miles has shot up. He and Edith are like twins."
Another fan eagerly anticipated the special, saying: "Can't wait, lovely to see them all back together."
Fans are abuzz with excitement, as one particularly enthusiastic viewer praised: "Absolutely wonderful, we will be tuning in. Reuben is a very hardworking young man, he has an amazing work ethos just like his parents. Miles is as tall as Reuben now, all grown up."
Lately, Reuben has made waves by starring in a brand new series featuring his whole family, with parents Amanda and Clive Owen at the helm.
Our Farm Next Door: Amanda Clive and Kids, slated to hit the screens next year, follows the Owen clan embarking on the colossal challenge of restoring the dilapidated farmhouse known as Anty John's.
Throughout the programme, matriarch Amanda voiced her hopes for the refurbishment and her vision for some of her children transitioning from their ancestral Ravenseat Farm to inhabit the newly revived homestead in future.
Equally eager for independence, Reuben conveyed his readiness to leave the family home: "Other than Ravenseat, it is probably one of the only places I'd consider living happily."
Reuben Owen: Christmas in the Dales airs on Wednesday at 9pm on Channel 5.
