I'm A Celeb: Joel Dommett predicts Danny will do well
The presenter of I’m A Celebrity: Unpacked got emotional as he reflected on a particularly heartfelt episode of the reality series yesterday.
On Monday night, former boxing champion Barry McGuigan opened up about the devastating loss of his daughter.
Danika died in 2019, aged only 33, after battling with cancer.
Before the segment aired, Joel shared his raw feelings with fans on social media, admitting he was deeply moved by the events of the evening and missing his own family.
Fighting back tears, he said: “It's a very emotional episode this evening on I'm A Celeb Get Me Out of Here. You’re going to love it – it’s absolutely amazing, what a show.”

Pausing to collect himself, Joel continued: “I think I miss my family,” before covering his face with his hand.
The presenter captioned his video with a heartfelt message: “Get your tissues ready! Tonight’s a good one!”
The post resonated with fans, who were also left in tears after watching the episode.
After Monday night’s segment of I’m A Celeb aired, one person wrote: “Omg now I understand. Poor Barry, bless him and may his daughter forever be at peace.”

Another tried to comfort the comedian, saying: “Ahhhh Joel.. sending hugs to you... and yes it was so sad ..really felt for Barry.”
A third added: “In floods of tears, hold those we love so tight, because who knows what could happen tomorrow.”
In the episode, Barry spoke candidly about what it felt like to lose his daughter.
Danika was first diagnosed with acute lymphoid leukemia at the age of 11 but initially went on to recover after two years of treatment.
While sharing her story with his fellow campmates, Barry spoke about how she fought back against the disease as a child.
“She was good, she came back,” Barry said, but his voice faltered as he spoke of her later cancer diagnosis.
He also mentioned the effect Danika’s death had on his faith, adding: “I used to go to church a lot but after my daughter… you know, not so much.”
After witnessing the emotional moment, Barry’s campmates all rallied to support him.
