Loose Women: Gloria discusses Ant McPartlin becoming a father

Ant McPartlin has bravely opened up about a "life-changing" condition he was diagnosed with back in 2019.

The 49-year-old presenter, known for his vibrant presence on television, is currently co-hosting the latest series of I'm A Celebrity alongside his long-time friend Declan Donnelly.

During a candid conversation, Ant revealed that he lives with ADHD, a neurodevelopmental disorder characterised by symptoms such as hyperactivity, inattentiveness, impulsivity, and emotional dysregulation.

Reflecting on the journey to his diagnosis, Ant shared, "I’ve got ADHD. I don’t mind talking about it. I underwent thorough evaluations and assessments, and through that process, I uncovered aspects of myself that I hadn’t confronted in years."

In addition to sharing his experience, Ant expressed his heartfelt support for others who face similar challenges. He acknowledged the profound impact ADHD has had on his personal life, stating, "In my job, having what they call 'popcorn thinking' is incredibly advantageous because it allows me to switch gears quickly and tackle various tasks."

Ant received his ADHD diagnosis after he was arrested for drink-driving in 2018, and he said the condition is strongly linked to alcohol dependency.

In recent year's other celebrities have talked about the impact ADHD has had upon them. Including fellow I'm A Celebrity star Sam Thompson, who described it as being his "super power" while discussing the condition on This Morning.

During Monday's I'm A Celeb, Ant and Dec made reference to 'Female Boss' Tulisa as TikTok star GK Barry tackled the latest Bushtucker Trial.

Back in 2011, Tulisa became known for holding up her forearm during the opening minutes of the X Factor to display her bold "Female Boss" tattoo.

During the thrilling first Bushtucker Trial, the Geordie duo radiated confidence as they referenced the iconic tattoo, hoping to inspire GK Barry amidst the terrifying swarm of bugs surrounding her.

GK was given a strict ten-minute countdown to maneuver through the dark, mysterious network of caves and tunnels hidden within the smoldering volcano, where she had to search for elusive hidden stars glimmering in the shadows.

In the heat of the moment, with her heart racing, she boldly exclaimed, "What would Tulisa do?" as creepy crawlers brushed against her.

Ant, seizing this pivotal moment, struck a dramatic pose, flexing his forearm in an iconic stance. With a determined expression, he declared, "She would act like a boss," infusing GK with the courage she needed to press on.

As GK passed the spider's cave, it appeared she had taken a visitor with her as a huge spider appeared on the top of her helmet, much to Ant and Dec's terror as they watched on.

While many viewers were quick to praise GK Barry for tackling the trial, others were quick to question her incessant screams, given she eventually managed to complete the challenge with ease.

Posts to X included: "GK Barry is a screamer and althoug she's not endeared herself to me personality-wise there's a lot of people who love her. She's also set herself up as a regular trial entertained. I think the screaming is fake."

Another added: "GK Barry the classic scream the whole first episode to get airtime to do the trial, then nail pretending to be terrified."
