GMB: Richard returns to the studio after stepping out
Good Morning Britain presenter Richard Madeley made a swift exit from the ITV studio, leaving his co-star Susanna Reid concerned upon his return.
Tuesday's instalment (November 19) of the ITV programme saw the presenters discuss the top headlines of the day, including the amber weather alert which has been issued across some parts of the UK.
A severe snow alert is in place for major motorways in parts of the UK as temperatures plunged overnight. After sharing the latest updates regarding the weather warnings, Susanna announced that Richard had headed outside to test whether it was snowing.
"We can't get a live update to him just at this moment," Susanna revealed. As a video from outside of the studio played on-screen, Susanna turned to weather presenter Des Coleman to confirm if they were looking at sleet or snow.

"Well snow has a tendency to settle," Des explained. "I haven't seen any settling snow out there, I'm not saying that there's not, but we'll have to wait and see."
Walking back into the studio, the 68-year-old presenter announced: "It is absolutely tipping down with snow."
Richard revealed the snow had only started during the period he was outside, adding: "Suddenly, it's happened. We've taped it. We'll show you the pictures in a minute. It's really heavy."
Clearly concerned for her co-star, who was now wearing a damp suit jacket, Susanna quipped: "Can I recommend next time you go out with a coat."
Richard responded: "This is live television, Susanna. Every minute counts. There was no time to put a coat on. I suffer for the news."

The UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA) has warned that plummeting temperatures could impact everyone, not just vulnerable people.
The alert covers the East Midlands, West Midlands, North East, North West and Yorkshire and the Humber.
New weather data from WXCharts.com suggest that the winter weather conditions show no signs of abating any time soon.
The newly released weather maps show a large purple patch across much of northern England through November 23, indicating that snow is expected in the area.
If correct, then areas as far south as Stoke could see snow this weekend, covering Manchester, Leeds and Newcastle.
