Corrie: Carla confronts Jenny and Daisy about theft
Coronation Street is set for another week of high drama, with certain characters facing escalating turmoil.
Spoilers reveal that DS Lisa Swain (Vicky Myers) will tell Carla Connor (Alison King) that she's not ready for a relationship. However, upon her return to the factory, Carla is shocked to discover it has been trashed by an unknown intruder.
As she reaches for her phone to alert the police, she is hit on the head and collapses. Following the shocking news of Carla's assault, Lisa remains at her hospital bedside, hoping for her swift recovery.
In the meantime, Matty Radcliffe (Seamus McGoff) is taken in for questioning, but Alya Nazir (Sair Khan), who has returned, provides a statement supporting his alibi.
When Matty makes a smug remark about Becky's death, Lisa becomes incensed, convinced he must be implicated in the tragic event.
Later, Yasmeen Nazir (Shelley King) is thrilled to have Alya back and proud that she is now shadowing a criminal solicitor. Logan Radcliffe (Harry Lowbridge) and Matty notice Lisa observing them from her car.
At the station, Alya shows Lisa and Kit Green (Jacob Roberts) a picture sent by her client alleging police harassment.
In an attempt to conceal her actions, Lisa feigns a chance encounter with them, but Kit senses she's not being entirely truthful. As the week unfolds, Adam Barlow (Sam Robertson) admits to Alya that he's missed her and proposes they dine together sometime.

Meanwhile, at the hospital, Carla's health has taken a turn for the better, and it's time for her to be discharged in Friday's episode. Roy Cropper (David Neilson) and Ryan Connor (Ryan Prescott) arrive at the hospital to escort Carla home.
However, Carla can't mask her disappointment, confessing she had hoped Lisa would accompany them. Recognising Carla's yearning for a deeper bond with the police detective, Roy urges Lisa to reconcile with Carla, observing that their feelings for each other are clearly unresolved.
Coronation Street airs Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 8pm on ITV1.
