Amanda Owen talks about her children
Amanda Owen, the beloved face of Our Farm Next Door, has candidly discussed her nine children gradually moving away from farm life as they grow up.
The captivating More4 series explores the joint endeavour of Amanda and her former husband Clive as they strive to secure a heritage for their brood by refurbishing a run-down farmhouse close to Ravenseat.
Before this, Channel 5 had brought the family's escapades into homes through Our Yorkshire Farm, which aired its final season in 2022 following Amanda and Clive's split after two decades of marriage.
Our Farm Next Door: Amanda, Clive and Kids, which wrapped up only days ago, allowed viewers to witness the family's labours as they transformed Anty John's farmhouse into a dream forever home.
Throughout the show, audiences have watched the family tackle the expected farming woes, construction delays, and health issues Clive faced, all part of the challenging yet rewarding renovation process, reports Leeds Live.

As the project reached its conclusion, Amanda orchestrated a poignant family portrait in the most recent More4 episode, set against the landscape she cherishes.
"I wanted to get all the family together, to get a photograph standing on the hillside with Anty John's there in the background," Owen disclosed.
"Six girls, three boys. All looking roughly tidy and ready for a photoshoot. And we've even got a little bit of decent weather. It's great to have the whole gang back."
The photograph is of particular importance to the Yorkshire Shepherdess, symbolising a transition as some of her elder offspring prepare to spread their wings.
Amanda candidly expressed her bittersweet feelings, remarking: "We'll see the kids growing up and going their own way and we'll also see the house evolving as well."
"Suddenly, (they) want to head towards civilisation. They want to go to places where the phone works and where you can order a Deliveroo. Y'know, living the high life."
Yet, Amanda remains optimistic that the allure of rural life will beckon them back once the allure of urban living "wears a bit thin".
With optimism, she added: "You realise that it's actually quite fun riding horses, slobbing about in wellies and they all come back again. You can have the best of both worlds. And I think that's great!"
Raven, the eldest Owen offspring, has acknowledged that getting the whole family together is now "quite a difficult thing" due to the varying ages of the siblings.
