Aldis Hodge plays the Amazon series’ titular character Alex Cross, who uses his skills as a forensic psychologist to help him solve crimes.
Hodge already has an incredibly impressive acting resume, having appeared as MC Ren in the 2015 biopic Straight Outta Compton, Levi Jackson in the 2016 film Hidden Figures, Raymond in 1995’s Die Hard with a Vengeance and Jim Brown in the 2020 film One Night in Miami…
His television characters include Alec Hardison in the TNT series Leverage, Noah in the WGN America series Underground and Matthew in Girlfriends.
Superhero fans may also recognise him as Hawkman from the DC Film Black Adam and John Stewart/Green Lantern from the animated film Green Lantern: Beware My Power.
Isaiah Mustafa as John Sampson
Isaiah Mustafa portrays Alex’s best friend and police partner John Sampson in Cross.
Before his acting career, Mustafa played as an American football wide receiver and is also well-known as the main character in a series of Old Spice television commercials as ‘the man your man could smell like’.
Fans of Freeform's fantasy series Shadowhunters will recognise him for playing Luke Garroway, while horror fans might know him for portraying an adult Mike Hanlon in It Chapter Two.
Ryan Eggold as Ed Ramsey
Ryan Eggold plays the sinister and wealthy Ed Ramsey in Amazon Prime’s Cross.
