Wynne Evans' girlfriend, Liz Brookes, has shown support for the star after he faced a backlash for his performance on Saturday night.
The Welsh opera singer performed an American smooth with his professional partner, Katya Jones. While some people were impressed, others felt that the Go Compare star was "overmarked" by both Shirley Ballas and Anton Du Beke.
The pair received a score of 32, with Anton awarding them the highest score of 9, while Shirley gave them an 8. Shirley described their dance as "wonderful," while Anton praised it as "technically great, full of joie de vivre and energy, with powerful lifts and smooth as promised."
Meanwhile, Wynne’s girlfriend Liz, 50, appeared to dismiss any negative reactions to the dance as she enthusiastically shared a picture of them both on her social media.
The fitness enthusiast posted a photo of the pair together, writing: "Knocks it out of the park again!" The couple began dating earlier this year after Evans split from his wife of 16 years, according to reports from The Mirror.

Despite the post, viewers at home were furious with the judges for awarding the pair such high scores, with one accusing them of "favouritism" towards 52-year-old Wynne. Fans took to X to voice their opinions, and they didn’t hold back.
One wrote: "Wynne has never scored under 30 from the judges," while another agreed: "Yeah it's a mystery to us all, I feel like I'm being gaslit into thinking this chump is actually a good dancer. I'll be P***ED if he gets to Blackpool week."
A third disgruntled viewer added: "I swear to God! If Wynne dances s*** and they drool.. Be afraid Twitter. Be very afraid!" Someone else laid into the judges: "So Wynne has no criticism from Shirley but Sarah does? Why does Shirley do this every year? Always has to nitpick on a woman."
One fan thought the scoring was true to form, typing: "The overscoring and favouritism for Wynne continues," with another jibing: "Why are they always slathering over Wynne?! I don’t get it."
It comes after Wynne gushed about his partner Katya, revealing how she has taught him to be "more self-resilient" and not seek "validation from elsewhere".
Speaking previously on It Takes Two, he said: "Even though she’s 20 years younger than me, she’s teaching me how to be more self-resilient and how not to look for validation from elsewhere, to find that love from within.” Fans will find out which star will be leaving the competition on Sunday, November 10.
Strictly Come Dancing continues on BBC1 at 7.20 pm.
