This Morning's Cat Deeley and Dermot O'Leary try sandwiches
This Morning's usual presenting dynamic was shaken up, much to the delight of fans, as a familiar face made a surprise appearance alongside regular host.
In Tuesday's (November 12) episode, viewers were quickly charmed by the fresh pairing of Cat Deeley and Dermot O'Leary gracing their screens. Kicking off the show with a burst of energy, a cheerful Cat exclaimed: "Hello and welcome to your Tuesdays this morning, where I have got the lovely Dermot O'Leary by my side."
Dermot quipped back, puzzled: "Now I've gone slightly mad because I thought that we have done this before but we haven't." Confirming his mistake, Cat responded: "No we haven't. That is a lie my friend."
Dermot retorted, reflecting on his confusion: "Or maybe a dream not a lie. I don't think I was lying about it.", reports the Mirror. Still in disbelief, he mused: "I just think 'are you sure we haven't done This Morning together? '" to which Cat firmly assured him: "I'm absolutely positive, no not you."
With a touch of nostalgia, Dermot continued: "It might be the first time we have presented This Morning together but it's not the first time we have presented morning telly together."

The duo's history was then shown as an archive clip played of them during their earlier days on STV. The undeniable chemistry between Cat and Dermot won over the This Morning audience who are now advocating for the pair to become a permanent presenting team, taking to social media platforms to express their approval.
One enthusiastic fan comment on X, once known as Twitter, praising the synergy: "Cat works soo much better with Dermot already #ThisMorning."
Viewers have been sharing their thoughts on the new hosting dynamics of 'This Morning. ' One fan tweeted: "Really like Cat and Dermot together they two are the ultimate dream team! I've been thinking that for a long time that Cat would be more suited to Dermot... love their humour #ThisMorning."

A different viewer speculated: "I think Ben shepherd will leave #thismorning and be replaced with Dermot, so it'll be Cat and Dermot Monday to Thursday and then maybe Alison and Josie on a Friday."
In February, Cat and Ben Shephard stepped into the roles as the regular hosts of This Morning, succeeding Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby who both exited the programme within a year of one another.
This week saw Ben Shephard announcing a hiatus from his typical presenting responsibilities. With his temporary departure, a variety of television hosts have been drafted in to cover, including Dermot O'Leary, usually fronts the show alongside Alison Hammond every Friday.
