Strictly: Tasha and Aljaz exchange words on the stairs

Strictly Come Dancing fans have been left concerned for Tasha Ghouri after she appeared downcast on Saturday night (October 19).

Fans were already concerned for the star before her performance as viewers flooded in to say she appeared sad, but after the performance she exchanged words with her partner Aljaž Škorjanec, who gave her some additional support.

Tasha's performance landed the duo a 34 out of a possible 40, but Tasha admitted that she found it difficult to find the "Tango energy".

After it was recognised that the judges were being pickier with Tasha and Aljaz, the pair welcomed the criticism, but fans made it clear they had concerns about Tasha's demeanor.

Taking to X, one user wrote: "Tasha looks really sad this week???"

Another said: "Didn't like the music with that really. Put me off it from the off. Felt a bit more of a disconnect between Tasha and the dance too." A third wrote: "I think the judges are being too hard on Tasha."

But while viewers noticed something with Tasha, as the pair were going up the stairs, Tasha whispered something to Aljaz about the "start" of their dance, and he gave her some reassurance.

Running up the stairs with her, he said: "I know, I know, but it's okay."

The pair then awaited their scores as they were given the 34 from the judges. Comments were then put towards them as head judge Shirley Ballas told her that she believes she will improve but warned “consistency is key” to success on Strictly, and called some of her steps “loosey-goosey and wobbly”, while Anton Du Beke told her that “for perfection” she needs to do better.

Votes to decide who will go through another week opens at the end of Saturday night's show.

Strictly Come Dancing continues tomorrow on BBC One.
