Strictly Come Dancing's Chris McCausland and Dianne Buswell left the audience in tears with their poignant waltz to the iconic Liverpool anthem You'll Never Walk Alone on Saturday night.
As they took to the dance floor, the pair received a standing ovation and glowing praise from the judges, earning a total of 35 points - their highest score to date.
Following their performance, Chris humbly asked pro partner Dianne: "Did I do okay?" to which she replied: "I'm so proud of you!".
The emotional dance routine sparked a strong reaction on Twitter, now X, with viewers left 'sobbing'. One user tweeted: "Genuinely sobbing at chris and dianne's dance right now. it was unbelievably stunning #strictly" while another wrote: "Sobbing at Chris AGAIN #Strictly".
Others shared similar sentiments, with one saying: "Well I am SOBBING #Strictly" and another adding: "Chris and dianne have me SOBBING. #strictly", reports the Mirror.
This comes after Chris, 47, who is making history as the show's first blind contestant, suffered a setback during training when he sprained his wrist and was forced to seek medical attention.
In an op-ed for The Times, Chris described the week he’s had so far during the intense training sessions with Aussie dancer Dianne, 35, and complained that last week, he performed an impressive salsa - which scored the couple 30 points - he was actually suffering from a "horrible stinking cold".
Chris joked that he had mentioned he felt ill to Dianne "several times an hour", and the 35-year-old had reprimanded the star for "moaning". He quipped: "I would simply say that I was keeping her up-to-date with what my body was telling me – and my body was moaning."
The comedian went on to reveal he recently sustained an injury and he even accidentally injured Dianne during rehearsals after forgetting he had a sprained wrist.
"As sprains go, it was a mild one and I was deemed fit to dance by the Strictly physio, but I needed to wear a wrist support," Chris explained. "On the Thursday I did actually forget to put this wrist support on and ended up dropping poor Dianne in a rather unflattering heap on the floor. Sorry Dianne."
Meanwhile, Chris recently discussed performing the waltz to You’ll Never Walk Alone, as he confessed he was worried he would upset Liverpool fans. "Everyone has a connection to the song so you don't want it to be rubbish," he told It Takes Two host Fleur East. "If we can do something that Liverpool fans like, I have done it well. If we can do something that Everton and Manchester United fans like, we have worked a miracle!"
