Strictly Come Dancing enthusiasts have expressed their "disappointment" upon realising a certain fact about Chris McCausland's participation in this year's series. Since his first appearance on the Strictly dance floor last month, the comedian, who is paired with Dianne Buswell, has won over the home audience with his sharp humour and impressive dance skills and some viewers even confessed to being moved to tears by his performances that wowed the judges.
However, despite his popularity among the show's fans, some have voiced their dismay after speculating that Chris might not be part of the Strictly Come Dancing Live Tour due to a specific reason.
After each season of the BBC show, a selection of contestants and professional dancers embark on a tour, bringing the Strictly experience to arenas throughout the UK. This year, all four judges, Motsi Mabuse, Shirley Ballas, Anton Du Beke, and Craig Revel Horwood, will also be hitting the road.
While it hasn't been confirmed which of this year's celebrity contestants will join them, there's speculation that Chris might not be included in the line-up due to prior commitments. As one fan noted on Facebook, Chris' Yonks! tour commences on 18 January - just a day after the Strictly Come Dancing Live Tour kicks off in Birmingham, reports OK!.
"Just noticed Chris won't be able to do the tour next year as he's doing his own comedy tour that starts 18 January, such a shame," one fan lamented on Facebook.
This sparked a wave of disappointment across the social media platform, with fans expressing their sorrow over the potential absence of Chris.
"Where is he on at, please? Disappointed he isn't doing the tour. But it will be good whoever is dancing," another fan chimed in.
"Such a shame he would have been great on it too," a third added.

Express Online reached out to the BBC for comment.
This follows Chris' revelation on last week's show where he expressed dissatisfaction with a certain aspect of the programme.
After performing a foxtrot to Be Young, Be Foolish, Be Happy, the comedian humorously pointed out that his performance was scheduled at the same time as the Liverpool FC vs Wolverhampton Wanderers Premier League match.
Post-performance, Claudia Winkleman queried about Chris' feelings. "I'm not happy to be honest as they've put me on 10 minutes before the Liverpool game ends. That's half of Liverpool watching the football, that's half of my core voter group," he jested.
