The Chase fans have been left fuming over ‘unfair’ questions on the ITV quiz show.
The popular ITV programme returned to screens featuring contestants Michael, Kristen, Saph, and Terry, who went head-to-head against Chaser, Darragh Ennis.
Unfortunately, both Michael and Saph were knocked out before they could return to the team after facing Darragh.
Many viewers noticed what they considered an unfair method of elimination, as both contestants were given science-related questions, which is Darragh’s area of expertise.
Fans took to social media to voice their frustrations, arguing that the questions were heavily skewed in favour of the Chaser.

Outside of the show, Darragh has an impressive background as an entomologist and neuroscientist as well as being a quizzer.
Taking to X, one fan of the show fumed: “For the second time today, a contestant has been eliminated by a question on Darragh's area of expertise! #TheChase.”
A second person penned: “Oh what a surprise! Another Science question to take her out! Random my arse #thechase.”
A third angry person added: “Is it just a perception, or are there rather too many science type questions today? #TheChase”
A fourth person said: “Darragh's getting spoiled with the biology questions today!”
A fifth chimed in: “Another science question popular tonight #thechase”
Another person raged: “F*** sake do you wanna ask Darragh what's his postcode while you're at it ?!, he's getting more than enough 'coincidence' questions. #TheChase”
Unfortunately, after a tough round of questions, Terry was knocked out of the competition despite going for the higher offer of £77,000. This meant that Kristen was the only player left standing.
With 3k in the cash pot, she managed to get 13 questions right in the final chase. However, despite her effort, Darragh managed to beat her, leaving the contestant empty-handed.
