Strictly star Nick Knowles eats "curry and carbs" every night after gruelling rehearsals for the BBC dance contest, it has been revealed
The 62-year-old - who is partnered with Luba Mushtuk on the show - returns home to a hot meal prepared by fiancee Katie Dadzie, 34.
A friend says his favourite food is Chicken Rogan Josh with naan, line pickle, pilau rice and popadoms. They exclusively said: "Nick always comes back home to a hot meal - Katie cooks for him whilst he's training. She's very devoted.
"He's eating a lot of carbs and loving casserole and mash, child con carne and tacos. But curry his favourite. He loves Chicken Rogan Josh with all the bits that come with it.
"He wakes up at 5.30am and leaves an hour later, not returning until around 8pm. He'll eat with Katie and then he'll take a long bath."
The star is set to walk down the aisle with Katie, 34, later this year.

Nick popped the question in August 2023 and the big day appears to be approaching after Katie was spotted shopping for her dress this week.
The DIY SOS star was also married to Gillian Knowles from 1996 to 2000 with whom he shares son Charlie and daughter Tuesday, while also has son, TJ, with dancer Paula Beckett.
But his time on the show was this week put in jeopardy after he was injured while changing a tyre on his Range Rover.
He is currently undergoing treatment for the injury and said that a rigorous training schedule has left him "aching" and in need of physiotherapy.
He said: "I thought I'd let you follow my day today as a contestant on Strictly. So up at 5.30am. Long hot bath to soak my bones because the training, eight hours a day, really really makes you ache. And I'm off to the physio now, in the car by 6.30am, to be there at eight o'clock, and I'll pick it up there."
After last week's show, Luba said: "Hard to find the right words to describe how proud I am of Nick Knowles, but I start by saying that no matter the difficulties we faced this week (and there was a few) nothing could stop him... I mean nothing.
"I'm so grateful for the trust and belief in me as a teacher and I couldn't be more happy to see this love for dance that he has discovered in this little time.
"Thank you from all my heart for being an incredible student but also a wonderful human being to be around. Team Unstoppable it's official, because Nick Knowles really is."
Nick and Luba also managed to impress the judges with an overall score of 21, which for week two is impressive.
Fans were quick to add their praise too, with one user writing: "So proud of this team honestly. You did so incredibly well last night. Luba, you are the best teacher." While another said: "You both did great! What a team! I really hope you both go further in the competition. Go team!!"
