GMB: Charlotte Hawkins says she doesn't know what to wear for NTAs
Temperatures have plummetted today ahead of the GMB stars' appearance at the National Television Awards (NTAs) this evening.
Susanna Reid playfully admitted her fears for co-star Charlotte Hawkins, whose wardrobe choices have now been drawn into question. The NTAs kick off today, with the red carpet hosted by I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! 2023 winner Sam Thompson and his "best buddy" Pete Wicks.
However, Charlotte was outed for still having no idea what she'll wear so close to showtime. The unseasonably cold temperatures are thought to have thrown her plans into chaos, while Susanna joked that she'd have to be careful not to clash with Richard Arnold when it came to wardrobe choices.
The GMB stars are certain to be supporting Kate Garraway whose heart-wrenching show Derek's Story, about her late husband's battle with long Covid, is nomnated in the best Authored Documentary Category. She'll be competing for the prestigious gong with Robbie Williams, the Beckhams, Strictly 2021 winner Rose Ayling-Ellis and Rhod Gilbert.
Sadly no-one from GMB has made it to the shortlist for Best Presenter this year, although other ITV stars are battling it out for the trophy. Alison Hammond of This Morning, Ant and Dec of I'm A Celebrity and Bradley Walsh of The Chase are all nominees, though they'll have to ward off competition from Stacey Solomon for Sort Your Life Out and Claudia Winkleman for The Traitors.

There's an atmosphere of electrifying excitement in the air for fans as the nation debates who the winners will be.
Charlotte is already looking glamorous this morning, hours before the ceremony is due to start, in a neon pink outfit.
However, Ed Balls warned: "It's going to be chilly on the red carpet tonight," as he contemplated what she might wear for the big event.
Susanna chimed in to joke: "I've got breaking news for you, Richard Arnold has been getting ready, and Charlotte doesn't yet know what she is going to wear!"

Charlotte chuckled that the wardrobe dilemma was a "little bit worrying".
Richard divulged: "They're going to be laying out different things for the both of us", while Charlotte quipped: "Let's hope they don't get us mixed up."
Meanwhile, Kate Garraway's victory over receiving a NTA nomination this year is bittersweet, as she is also marking her first wedding anniversary without her late husband.
Derek soldiered on for almost four years after first being placed in a coma when he came down with long Covid and Kate is still grieving over his death, admittng yesterday she felt as if she'd been "punched in the stomach" over the milestone.
