Channel 4 viewers issued a similar complaint during Thursday night's coverage of the Paralympic Games as they aired their grievances on social media.

Following the competitors' sporting events, the commentators interviewed the athletes, but viewers made a desperate plea to Channel 4.

It comes after fans noted something was wrong with the presenters using the same microphones.

One viewer commented: "Can @Channel4 supply a few more microphones to the #Paralympics2024 mob? They appear to be struggling to share two mics between five people."

Another remarked: "Memo to channel 4 perhaps supply more than one microphone when interviewing more than one medalist just saying …. #Paralympics2024."

A third agreed: "It doesn't feel like they've blown the budget on this coverage, does it?"

While others suggested the coverage did not appear as sleek as the Olympics 2024.

One suggested: "Is this interview section on channel 4 being filmed on an IPhone? Shaking and wobbling all over the shop.#Paralympics2024."

Another agreed: "All a bit Channel 4 from the 1980s!"

The Paralympics started on Wednesday in Paris and featured over 4,000 athletes from 160 countries.

Channel 4 has been the official UK Paralympic broadcaster since taking over coverage of the Paralympics in 2012, with coverage of London 2012 regularly cited as a key moment in helping shift public perceptions around disability and disability sport.

Paralympics Games 2024 airs on Channel 4 from 11am
