Liam and Noel Gallagher confirm Oasis reunion for 2025

Oasis fans have been issued an urgent deadline when it comes to securing tickets for the much anticipated reunion tour.

Noel and Liam Gallagher announced this week that they will be putting their differences aside to play a series of gigs in the UK and Ireland. With fans desperate to get their hands on tickets, BBC Breakfast aired a segment advising them just how to do so.

But business correspondent Ben Boulos warned fans that it’s not going to be a simple process. He explained: “The general sale starts tomorrow morning at 9am (August 31) and an hour earlier in Ireland.

"So set a reminder now!" Ben urged, adding: "But there will be a pre-sale process with access via a ballot.”

Ben said: “Now applications to enter that closed on Wednesday night, although huge demand meant a delay in some fans getting confirmation of their entry via an email with a link to click on to verify that they want to join the ballot.

"Those emails are still being sent out this morning, and you will need to click the link to confirm your entry by 10am today.”

Ben went on to tell keen buyers: “People drawn in the ballot will be sent details of the pre-sale by 5pm today, although it’s not yet clear when that starts or how many tickets are available.

"It will be a first come, first served basis. So even then there’s no guarantee of getting a ticket!”

Ben went on to chat to two Oasis superfans who have seen the band 50 times between them – and one is already planning on attending two dates of the 2025 tour.

And in a cheeky exchange with hosts Charlie Stayt and Naga Munchetty, Ben made it clear he’s had “quite enough” of their antics.

Clutching his script in hand, he pretended to read: “It says here, ‘Oasis pun-filled chat with Charlie and Naga’, but I think we’ve had quite enough of that this week already, don’t you?”

Naga giggled, but couldn’t resist yet another pun as she said: “Definitely maybe.” Charlie quipped: “Had you actually rehearsed that?” as Naga insisted: “I’m just very quick witted!”

Charlie admitted: "It's not a simple process," in regards to booking tickets – as Ben said fans have an "anxious wait" ahead as fans scramble for reunion tickets.
