GB News: Panel discuss Oasis reunion and compare Prince Harry feud

Prince Harry and Prince William won't take a cue from the Gallagher brothers and reconcile.

A debate took place on GB News between Eamonn Holmes, Isabel Webster and panellists Paula London and Emma Woolf as they pondered whether the Oasis reunion might inspire the warring brothers to put aside their differences.

The general feeling was the Gallaghers have agreed to tour again for monetary gain which led Isabel to quip: "Sounds like Harry's cup of tea."

Paula disagreed, pointing out: "William doesn't need to get back with Harry. In an ideal world you'll always be close to family members but not everyone is. I mean, I'm not," Paula admitted. "So sometimes you just can't be.

"And as I say, if it wasn't for money, Liam wouldn't be getting back with Noel but they can make millions from their concerts...But then I'm sure they'll be estranged straight afterwards, or maybe they're not even that close now. They're just doing it for money, and then they'll stop talking again.

"Look at Harry and William. I think some of the stuff, well, a lot of stuff that Harry said in Spare is almost unforgivable," Emma opined. "But is it unforgivable? It's just it's something that we can't really know about.

"Harry at the moment, is in a phase where he's living on the West Coast and whatever. But let's hope that in time, they are able to come back together, because they were close," she reflected.

Isabel chimed in commenting on the "difficult one" in the sibling pairings. "You can see in both sets of brothers, which one's the difficult one, can't you?" she enquired.

"And it's just how much reign you give them, basically, whether you just let them be, or whether you try and tell them to behave and what you can tolerate.

"Because presumably Noel was just tolerating it for a while, then he was like, 'I don't need this in my life'. And the same with William. It's like Harry's the fun up until the point he crossed the line."

Concluding the debate Paula said: "They're [The Gallaghers] only doing it for the money and William doesn't need the money does he?"

The discussion came after Oasis confirmed he band will reunite next year, 15 years after their split, with a string of dates this summer.

They will undertake a 14 date reunion tour which will begin in Cardiff on July 4 next year.

The band sold more 75 million records worldwide during 18 years together, making them one of the best selling groups of all time.

They had eight UK number-one singles and eight UK number-one albums during their tenure.

They broke up in 2009, with Noel and Liam's difficult relationship widely considered to be one of the key reasons behind the band’s split.
