Eamonn Holmes stormed: "Don't lecture me!" after a guest loudly objected to him suggesting that flying the Union Jack flag was "no big deal".
The GB News clash culminated in the guest insisting: "I understand racism more than you!" Eamonn indignantly shot back: "Give me a break!" The debate began as Eamonn discussed the news that a tiny Norfolk village is feeling divided over whether to fly the Union Jack flag, fearing it could "scare people away".
Claxton, which has a population of just under 300 people, had hoped to erect a flagpole as a patriotic symbol outside the village hall. However, claims have been made that it could "scare people away" and deter them from moving there.
A local resident has complained that "the flag is often used as a symbol against immigration" and therefore could be "used in the wrong way". However, Eamonn hit back: "What's the big deal?"
The guest then went on the offensive, exclaiming: "Eamonn, I'm not going to let you get away with that... be considerate of other people's beliefs and views." Remaining calm, he told her: "You don't have to lecture me."
When she asked who had the "loudest voice" in the debate, Eamonn replied: "You at the moment!" which made her appear even more enraged.
During the conversation, a panellist defended right-wing views, saying that some Brits feel "dispossessed" and that they're "losing their neighbourhoods" and communities to mass immigration.
He added: "They're deeply disturbed by what they're seeing in this country."
Meanwhile, viewers took to the comments section online to share their rage.
"Get this nutter off! It's people like her who make our country divided!" one exclaimed.
