Love is in the air in the upcoming series of Grantchester with its new vicar Rishi Nair seen sharing a passionate kiss with co-star Christie Russell-Brown.
The former Hollyoaks star, 33, plays Reverend Alphy Kottaram alongside Robson Green’s DI Geordie Keating to solve mysteries haunting the Cambridgeshire village.
During time out from crime fighting, the parish priest was spotted with Meg Gray, portrayed by Christie, in his soft-top red vintage Triumph Herald.
Rishi replaced actor Tom Brittney, who played Reverend Will Davenport, in the lead role on the ITV detective drama set in the 1950s after his predecessor bowed out in episode two of the ninth series.
That series has already premiered in the US already but is yet to air in the UK. The 10th series, shot in Cambridgeshire, is expected to on our screens next year.
