Ahead of the much-anticipated final chapter of Prime Video's hit series The Boys, Valorie Curry expressed her wish for her on-screen persona, Firecracker, to meet a grizzly end due to her controversial behaviour.
Gracing San Diego Comic-Con International with her presence last weekend, Curry openly shared with The Hollywood Reporter: "I hope she dies. She has it coming from many people. She's awful. She's horrible. I hope it's not because of the meds, because that seems too easy."
Curry pinpointed Susan Heyward's Sister Sage as the ideal character to deliver justice to the vile supe, adding: "It should be Sage, and then she should survive and have a spin-off. I hope she dies," firmly driving the point home.
Another jaw-dropping reveal at the fan-favourite fest was for upcoming spin-off Vought Rising, set to whet appetites with a 1950s-era tale featuring familiar faces like Jensen Ackless Soldier Boy and Aya Cash's Stormfront, back then known as Clara Vought.
Diving into the genesis of Vought, show creators Paul Grellong and Eric Kripke stated: "We are excited to bring you the next deranged series from the world of The Boys.
"It's a twisted murder mystery about the origins of Vought in the 1950s, the early exploits of Soldier Boy and the diabolical manoeuvres of a supe known to fans as Stormfront, who was then going by the name Clara Vought."
They tantalizingly added: "We cannot wait to blow your minds and trouble your souls with this salacious, grisly saga drenched in blood and Compound V."
Since its premiere five years ago, The Boys, an adaptation of the satirical comic books by Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson, has given birth to a spin-off web series named Seven on 7, an animated anthology spin-off called Diabolical, and a second live-action series, Gen V.
