Kaye Adams confesses to making presumptions about Loose Women co-star

During Friday's episode of Loose Women, Kaye Adams confessed to hastily misjudging her colleague as the panel delved into a conversation about Olympic icon Simone Biles.

The women discussed the hurdles Simone encountered after withdrawing from the Tokyo Olympics three years ago, highlighting how people often misconstrue others. 

The discussion prompted guest Mariella Frostrup to reveal that despite her perceived "posh" image, many are unaware of her humble beginnings, explaining to viewers: "I arrived on the ferry from Ireland at the age of 16, I didn't finish school, and yet the presumption that people have of you and if people berate me..." only for Kaye to interject with an admission: "I was guilty of that! " Mariella quickly clarified: "I wasn't making a jibe at you!"

Kaye went on to express her newfound understanding of Mariella's past, admitting: "I only learned recently your kind of back story but I made a presumption about you and what your back story would be and I got it totally wrong. And so many people made judgements of Simone and just didn't know the full story."

Simone Biles has continued to triumph, securing her sixth Olympic gold medal - her second in Paris - yet even as the most celebrated gymnast in history, she has had to navigate through personal issues.

The American gymnast had to pull out of the Tokyo Olympics after suffering from the "twisties," a dangerous mental block causing disorientation in the sport. She faced harsh backlash, as critics accused her of failing her team.

Viewers tuning into Friday's episode of Loose Women were met with another shorter show, which wrapped up early to make room for the day's racing action at Goodwood, reports the Mirror.
