Midsomer Murders returns to TV

Midsomer Murders returned to screens in July with the second and third episodes of series 23. The brand new instalments went down a treat with fans who had eagerly been awaiting some new cases for DCI John Barnaby and DS Jamie Winter to take on.

The long-standing ITV series will return tonight, Wednesday, July 31, but sadly not with the fourth instalment of series 23. Instead, the broadcaster will be airing a repeat in the 9pm slot that first aired in 2019.

ITV viewers will be treated to Drawing Dead, the third episode in series 20 of Midsomer Murders. The instalment will follow Barnaby and Winter as death strikes a disused abbey that is believed to be a curse, while a former supermodel is murdered during a comic convention.

Here's what we know about series 20, episode 3, of Midsomer Murders, called Drawing Dead.

Drawing Dead plot

An episode synopsis reads: "The village of Carver Valley is shocked by the murder of a former supermodel during its comic festival. Barnaby and Winter are left trying to separate fact from fiction."
