Jenny Ryan says she will be back on The Chase after her show

The Chase's Jenny Ryan has confirmed her return to the ITV quiz show amidst her UK tour excitement.

Jenny, known as The Vixen, is set to embark on her Out of the Box tour from September to November 2024, with performances scheduled from Lichfield to Stafford. Combining singing, comedy, and quizzing, Jenny gave Good Morning Britain viewers a sneak peek at what to expect.

Ranvir Singh, GMB host, was eager to know if Jenny would make a comeback to The Chase. Jenny assured fans she would, despite finding it daunting to reveal a "softer" side after years of portraying a "stern" Chaser.

The tour's official blurb states: "Jenny Ryan better known as the dream-crushing brainbox The Vixen on the hit ITV quiz The Chase breaks away from teatime telly and invites you to an evening of song, storytelling and even some showbiz secrets.

"Join Jenny on a journey through her life and times via some of her favourite tunes, sung live with the powerful voice which blew the judges away on X Factor Celebrity", reports the Mirror.

While speaking to GMB's Ed Balls, Ranvir, and entertainment reporter Scarlette Douglas, Jenny shared: "We took the show to Edinburgh Fringe last year really on sort of a whim.

"It's a big risk to take something like this, as presenters know, after a stern role and you try something new. It's a bit of a challenge for people to change their expectations and perceptions of you," she expressed, with her journey shifting from an intimidating quiz boffin to revealing her more amicable layers onstage.

Ed couldn't resist chiming in, jokingly remarking: "Tell me about it!" clearly drawing parallels to his own career leap from the political frontline to daytime TV hosting.

Jenny further elaborated on her bold move: "Putting myself out there to show a softer side of me putting everything out there, my background, everything... was a bit of a risk. We sold out [at the Fringe] and we got such excellent feedback."

Interrupting, Ranvir queried: "Jenny, can I ask... are you worried? Because presumably you're going to go back onto The Chase? Are you worried that people won't be as scared of you because they'll have seen a softer side?"

Jenny confirmed her return to the ITV quiz spectacle but merely laughed at the idea put forth by Ranvir.
