Celebrity Race Across The World is returning for a second outing so who will be taking on the challenge of a lifetime?
The BAFTA award-winning BBC series is getting a season two with the celebrities this time tasked with making their way from Belem, Northern Brazil, to Andes, Frutillar in Southern Chile.
With the countdown underway until the six-part adventure reality show premieres, fans are desperate to know exactly who is going to be making this unforgettable journey.
Who stars in Celebrity Race Across The World 2024?
Jeff Brazier and Bobby Brazier
Broadcaster Jeff Brazier is a regular when it comes to some of the biggest shows around from working on This Morning and Dancing on Ice as well as I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! NOW! And Finders Keepers.
The 45-year-old, who first rose to fame on the reality series Shipwrecked, will be starring in Celebrity Race Across The World with his son Bobby Brazier.
He is well known in his own right, starring as Freddy Slater in EastEnders and was last year’s Strictly Come Dancing runner-up.
The father-and-son duo appear on Channel 4’s Gogglebox together but how will they fare during such a treacherous journey?
Kelly Brook and Jeremy
Model, actress and TV personality Kelly Brook is the next famous face lined-up for the ultimate hitchhikers’ journey.
From Strictly Come Dancing and Britain’s Got Talent, to Celebrity Juice, Loose Women and The Masked Dancer, Kelly is no stranger to the world of reality shows.
In the US, however, she is probably best recognised as Prudence in the NBC sitcom One Big Happy.
She will be joined by her husband and Italian model Jeremy Parisi with whom she tied the knot in July 2022 at his family-owned villa Nota Pisani.
Kola Bokinni and Mary Ellen
Next to sign up for the exhausting challenge is actor Kola Bokinni whose biggest role to date has been as captain of AFC Richmond, Isaac McAdoo in Apple TV+’s Ted Lasso.
Some of his other big parts have been in Top Boy as Leyton, Black Mirror as Lennard and Daniel in the film 100 Streets.
He won’t be making the trip alone with the 31-year-old star working alongside his cousin Mary Ellen to figure out how to make it to the finishing line.
Scott Mills and Sam
Finishing off the line-up is radio DJ and presenter Scott Mills, best known for presenting the Scott Mills Show on BBC Radio 1 for 18 years before making the move to BBC Radio 2.
One of his biggest jobs to date was working as a UK commentator for the Eurovision Song Contest semi-finals, alongside Rylan Clark.
Scott’s travel partner is his husband Sam Vaughan, an audio producer and branded content freelancer, who he married back in 2017.
Celebrity Race Across The World returns on Wednesday, August 14, at 9pm on BBC One and BBC iPlayer.
